Before Thom became your go-to renovation professional, he knew one thing for certain: he loved turning tired spaces into functional, beautiful places to live. His passion for construction and woodworking, paired with a sharp attention to detail, shapes how he approaches every project today.
Craftsmanship in Every Nail and Notch
Thom’s journey into carpentry began with hands-on experience working under a seasoned general contractor on Cape Cod, where he learned the importance of building it right the first time and treating clients like family. As he renovated older homes and tackled everything from custom woodworking to major upgrades, his appreciation for quality work only grew stronger.
Determined to refine his skills further, Thom enrolled at the North Bennet Street School—one of the nation’s oldest trade institutions dedicated to fine craftsmanship. There, he gained a deeper understanding of woodworking and construction best practices, developing the precise techniques needed for truly flawless finishes.
Today, as a fully insured and registered Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor (Reg. No. 170947), Thom is committed to delivering projects that stand the test of time. Whether he’s transforming a cramped bathroom or crafting custom built-ins, Thom brings transparency, integrity, and attention to detail to every home he touches.
When he’s not on the job site, Thom spends his free time perfecting his woodworking craft, traveling to Cape Cod to see his family, and enjoying life with his wife Kari and their cocker spaniel, Shaq, who occasionally keeps him company in the workshop.
